Claude implementation for small and medium businesses
Imhauser Technologies does Claude implementation for businesses and nonprofits with 2 to 150 people: we set Claude up properly, connect it to the tools you already use, teach your team to use it on their real work, and stay on hand while it settles in.
Claude licenses are billed by Anthropic directly to you. We never resell them or mark them up.

What a proper Claude setup looks like
In most small businesses someone is already using an AI assistant, usually on a personal account, with company documents pasted into it. The version that actually pays off looks different: a company account on the right plan, Claude connected to your email, files and calendar, shared projects that hold your firm's knowledge and templates, and skills that do your recurring work the way your firm does it.
Getting there is a few weeks of setup decisions and some teaching. It is not difficult, but it is easy to put off, and easy to do in a way that leaves company data in personal accounts. That is the work we take off your plate.
What Claude does for a business like yours
Set up properly, Claude reads and drafts in your email and documents through connectors, works with spreadsheets, decks and Word files, carries out multi-step tasks, and follows skills: written instructions for how your firm does a specific job. Anthropic also provides Claude for Small Business: more than 40 ready-made workflows for common jobs such as chasing invoices, preparing month-end, triaging leads and reviewing contracts, working with tools like QuickBooks, HubSpot and PayPal. We start there, tailor those workflows to your tools and the way you work, then build the skills specific to your firm that no ready-made package covers. Some first uses we set up, always with a person reviewing the result before it goes to a client:
Law firms
Engagement letter drafts from intake notes, summaries of long document productions, matter chronologies from correspondence, and first-pass research memos for an attorney to check.
CPAs and wealth advisors
Meeting summaries and follow-up emails, tax-season document request lists, and plain-English review letter drafts from a portfolio or ledger export.
Builders and remodelers
Client progress updates from site notes and photos, side-by-side comparison of subcontractor bids, and change order drafts from the estimate.
Medical and dental offices
Staff policies, schedules and patient-facing FAQs. Anything involving patient health information needs Anthropic's HIPAA-ready Enterprise offering, and we set it up only once that agreement is in place.
Nonprofits and associations
Grant drafts built from past applications, board packets, member newsletters and event follow-ups.
Every office
Inbox triage and reply drafts, meeting notes turned into tasks, proposals in house style, and monthly reports from spreadsheets.
How it works
-
01
A free readiness call.
Thirty minutes on your team, your tools and the work that eats the most time. Within two business days you get a one-page note: the plan and seat mix we recommend, your top three use cases, and which package fits, with a fixed price. No obligation.
-
02
Discovery.
Quick Start: one 90-minute session with the owner and your internal champion. Rollout: a 45-minute interview with each team lead, up to six. You get a short list of the tasks, documents and tools we will build around.
-
03
Setup.
Plan, admin settings, connectors, shared projects and skills, built and tested on your real documents. Weeks 1 to 2 for Quick Start, 2 to 5 for Rollout.
-
04
Training.
Hands-on workshops where each person does real work of their own with Claude, plus a quick reference guide written for your setup, not a generic manual.
-
05
Follow-up.
We answer questions, fix what does not fit and adjust skills as people use them: 30 days for Quick Start, 60 days for Rollout. An adoption check with the owner at 30 days, and for Rollout a second one at 60 days.
Two fixed-price packages, one optional plan
Both packages are fixed price. Rollout starts at $7,900 for 15 to 30 people; teams of 31 to 150 are quoted after the readiness call, because the number of teams and tools varies. Claude licenses are separate, paid by you to Anthropic.

What Claude itself costs
Anthropic's list prices as of October 2026, for US customers, before tax. Prices change, so we confirm current pricing in your readiness note.
| Plan | Price per person | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Team, standard seat | $20 a month billed annually, or $25 billed monthly | Right for most people. The Team plan covers 2 to 150 people and includes single sign-on, central billing and admin controls for connectors |
| Team, premium seat | $100 a month billed annually, or $125 billed monthly | Five times the usage of a standard seat, for heavy users. Seat types can be mixed |
| Enterprise | From $20 a month billed annually, plus usage at API rates | 20-seat minimum. Adds audit logs, automated user provisioning (SCIM), custom data retention, role-based access and a HIPAA-ready offering |
Example: a 10-person office on standard seats, billed annually, pays Anthropic $200 a month. With a one-time Quick Start, the first-year total is about $4,850.
Who it is for
- Businesses with 2 to 150 people in McLean, Tysons, Vienna, Reston, Arlington, Washington DC and the wider area, or anywhere remotely
- Professional services, builders, medical and dental practices, nonprofits and associations: work that runs on documents, email and repeated formats
- Teams already on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
- Owners who want staff using AI safely on company accounts rather than personal ones
- Owners willing to name one internal champion who keeps it going after we leave
- Anyone expecting to replace staff with AI: we set Claude up to make your people faster, not to remove them
- Companies that want AI built into the software they sell: that is our AI Implementation service
- Businesses that need to process regulated data but do not want the plan that covers it
Security and your data
- Company accounts, not personal ones. Everyone signs in to your organization's account, so work stays with the business and leaves with nobody.
- No training on your content by default. On the Team and Enterprise plans, Anthropic states that it does not train its models on your content by default.
- You decide what Claude can reach. Admins choose which connectors are allowed. Connectors sign in as each person, so Claude works with the files and mail that person can already see.
- A written policy. Every package includes a one-page AI use policy, so staff know what can go into Claude and what needs a person's review.
- Patient health information. The Team plan is not the plan for it. The right route is Anthropic's HIPAA-ready Enterprise offering, and we set it up only once that agreement is in place.
What we need from you
Your account, your card, your admin rights. We work with the access you give us and remove it at the end of the engagement unless you keep us on Claude Care.
What we do not do
- We do not resell or mark up Claude licenses, and we take no commission from Anthropic.
- We do not promise a headcount saving or a productivity percentage.
- We do not set Claude up to send email, pay bills or change records on its own: by default a person approves anything that leaves the building.
- We do not put regulated data into a plan that is not meant for it.
- Building AI into the software you sell to your own customers is a separate service, AI Implementation.
We are independent. Imhauser Technologies is not affiliated with, endorsed by or a reseller for Anthropic. There is no sales quota or commission behind the plan we recommend, and the person who scopes your setup is the person who builds it and trains your team. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC.
What to expect
In the first week, people use Claude on their own real tasks, because that is what the workshops are built on. Within a month, a few habits stick: typically meeting notes, email drafts and the skills we built for your most repeated documents.
Adoption is uneven in every company. Some people take to it quickly and some barely use it. That is why every package includes a champion, follow-up and an adoption check at 30 days (Rollout adds one at 60 days): we look at what is being used, drop what is not, and adjust the skills to match how your team actually works.
We run our own business on it
Imhauser Technologies runs on Claude every day. It is connected to our email, files, CRM, accounting and task tracking; our own skills produce daily task digests, product documents and website changes, including this page; and we build connectors that let AI assistants work with real systems.
Behind that are 35 years of building software, including designing and building a complete AI platform on Microsoft Azure as CTO of TheraDesk.AI. The setup we do for you is the setup we use ourselves.
Questions people ask
How much does it cost to set up Claude for a small business?
Imhauser Technologies' Quick Start is $2,450 fixed for 2 to 15 people, and a Rollout starts at $7,900 fixed for 15 to 30 people, with larger teams quoted. Claude itself is paid to Anthropic: on the Team plan, $20 a person a month billed annually. The readiness call that tells you which fits is free. More in what it costs to set up Claude.
Do we need the Enterprise plan?
Most businesses under 150 people do not. The Team plan covers single sign-on, admin controls and connectors. Enterprise makes sense if you need audit logs, automated user provisioning, custom data retention or the HIPAA-ready offering.
We already use ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot. Can Claude sit alongside them?
Yes. Claude works with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and many teams use more than one assistant. If what you already have covers your needs, we will say so on the readiness call.
What if people do not use it?
It happens, which is why we train on real work, name a champion and follow up. Claude Care keeps someone on hand to build new skills as needs come up.
Who owns the skills and projects you build?
You do, along with everything else we create for you, including any connector code.
Could we do this ourselves?
Yes. Anthropic documents it well and provides ready-made workflows through Claude for Small Business. What we add is the time, the setup decisions, tailoring those workflows to your tools, skills written around how your firm actually works, and teaching your team so it gets used.
Are you an Anthropic partner?
No. We are an independent consultancy, so our advice on plans and seats is not tied to any sales target. We set up Claude using Anthropic's own documented tools and settings, in an account that belongs to you.
