The Story Behind Imhauser Technologies
My journey began in Belgium where I founded Imhauser Consulting. Over 20 years, I worked as an Application Architect and Developer across banking, retail, and public sector projects. My first project was with Fujitsu Consulting, writing COBOL for IBM Mainframe 3390 systems backed by DB2.
After building a VBA-based code generator targeting COBOL, I transitioned into web technologies. In the early 2000s, I developed an insurance quoting system using ASP 3 and MTS for Internet Explorer 4. With the arrival of .NET 1.0, I built large-scale public websites like lotto.be and duvel.be, and an XML-based CMS used in-house at Tagora.
In 2007, I led a three-person team at BNP Paribas Fortis to build a project engine in .NET used to manage thousands of internal initiatives. Later, I developed a Repair Tracker and POS Ordering System for Ice-Watch (2011), and a .NET Core tariff input platform for ENTSOG (2017), helping the EU gas sector meet regulatory transparency.
My move to Denmark in 2018 led me to Velux, where I built Sitecore-based websites and a CPQO system for Velux Commercial. In 2023, I relocated to Washington DC to work at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a technical lead, delivering enterprise-grade solutions using SharePoint, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
Today, Imhauser Technologies reflects this global, cross-sector experience. Our solutions are technically strong, user-focused, and ready to scale.
